The Void Ahead

The Void Ahead lets you experience the struggles that come with coping mechanisms caused by loneliness.

Loneliness can take different forms for everyone. Sometimes we all love to watch funny cat videos or memes just to escape it, but as everything has its limits, so does escapism.  In this prototype you try to help a kid gain perspective on their coping mechanism: excessive escapism, by solving interactive puzzles. The kid is stuck to a screen which is feeding them media constantly, closing them off from everything. Will the kid ever disconnect to reconnect to the real world?
